## Reviews ## [[2025-01-05]] ![[interstellar.jpg]] I saw this when it first came out at the BFI IMAX and found it good, if not outstanding. I thought it was an amazing visual and scientific feast, but that the human element fell flat. And of course I couldn't hear a word of dialogue thanks to [[Christopher Nolan]]'s always terrible audio mixing. On second (or maybe third) viewing, my opinion of it has massively increased. It still has some flaws, and the human connections still are too weak. But I can happily overlook all that because of how this film makes me *feel* – it deeply affected me. It gave me a sense of wonder and appreciation for life and love. And few films can do that. One thing I've noticed is that people who like Interstellar, *really* like it. And I can see why. I think I'm now one of them. **85%**
