I’ve loved these since I was a child. And unlike many foods, which have come and gone, Jaffa Cakes have remained. I don’t tend to have them that often. But when I do I always enjoy them. However. Here I am this evening ([[2024-12-15]]) watching [[Last Christmas (2019)]] when I decided to tuck into a packet. After getting them out of the box I noticed something off immediately. The size! They felt tiny. Bloody [[shrinkflation]]. After a quick Google it looks like they shrunk them in 2017 and [2023](https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/jaffa-cakes-mcvities-shrinkflation/). But d’ya know what? They are still delicious.
