### 08:03 Had breakfast at the hotel. Greek(ish) yogurt, granola, some sort of raspberry compot(?), raisins, orange-coloured one, and dried banana. Was tasty. I feel like maybe I should try to replicate it at home. It’s a pretty solid breakfast. I felt hopeful about the future and that I could/would continue feeling good when back home. But instead, on the very same day, I’ve fallen into the same bad habits. I’ve known for a while now that I find it easiest to get out of bad habits whilst on holiday. The change of surroundings massively help. But the momentum needs to be built on when back home. But instead I usually like to get back home and ‘reward’ myself things like fast food. And the good routine is ruined. ### 01:40 I’ve got a funny feeling my [[knee]] is going to go again soon. ### 01:47 I think I’ve been [[depressed]] so long that I’ve forgotten what it feels like to feel normal (let alone happy). ### 02:03 Had a flick through one of the books of the [[diary]] of [[Chips Channon]]. Each time I read a diary I’m reminded that it can be whatever I want to be. It doesn’t have to be 750 words. It doesn’t have to be formal. It doesn’t have to be from the start of the the day to its end, and can instead highlight just one moment. So let’s do a brief diary of today. Woke up in hotel after a good nights sleep. Had the earliest bath I might of ever had – some times around 07:15. Listened to [[Brian Eno]]. Went down for breakfast with Abigail. Resisted the [[Full English]], opting for granola and yogurt. Went for an extremely short walk at the hotel. There must have been a longer path somewhere, as the hotel had a boot wash and dry area. Went to [[Gloucester]] on the way home. Wanted to visit the cathedral, if only because parts of [[Harry Potter]] was filmed there. But I knew the moment I heard little boys singing on approach that we wouldn’t be let it. We weren’t. Had a Quick Look at shops and then drove home. Bloody boring journey. Just before home stopped at M&S and had a Korean spicy wrap. Was nice. Got home. Me and Abigail had alone computer time. I cooked a [[Roast Dinner]] and we watched half of [[Tolkien (2019]]. Was an incredibly dull film. I haven’t been able to sleep tonight. Even [[Benylin]] hasn’t helped.
